Patrick’s career in IT started as a hobby. He was an avid gamer and got into PC gaming by building his own computer. He became interested in the PC hardware space and built new computers every couple of years. It was during his internship in college that he seriously considered working in IT as a career.

Patrick’s career in IT started as a hobby. He was an avid gamer and got into PC gaming by building his own computer. He became interested in the PC hardware space and built new computers every couple of years. It was during his internship in college that he seriously considered working in IT as a career.
Patrick began working in the IT industry as an intern at Northwest Florida State College while attending classes. From his humble beginnings, he climbed the ranks from part-time technician to network specialist, and finally to system administrator. He moved on from repairing computers and printers to managing an entire network and server infrastructure. As the Windows sysadmin, Patrick deployed applications and programs to users, built task sequences for installing the OS on new computers, managed system updates, performed server maintenance and wrote scripts to automate various tasks.
After working in this position for a while, Patrick felt he had reached the peak of working IT at the college, and was no longer challenged to grow his knowledge. He began the hunt for a new job with opportunities to learn Microsoft Azure and Intune. With a stroke of luck and a recommendation from a colleague, he discovered Bit-Wizards.
With a wealth of experience in Windows Server and Microsoft System Center, Patrick is a strong asset to Bit-Wizards’ managed IT services as an Infrastructure Engineer.
Patrick lives in Crestview next to family and close relatives. He hails from Youngsville, Louisiana where he was born and raised. His favorite foods are Cajun cuisine like gumbo, crawfish etouffee, and shrimp po’ boys. He enjoys reading books and playing video games.
