Born and raised in the small, rural town of Heflin, Alabama, Drew received a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Alabama and a master’s in political science from Jacksonville State University.
He has worked in an array of industries to include advertising agencies, politics, law, economic development, and he most recently spent a decade working in higher education. During his time in higher ed, Drew eventually made his way to the Emerald Coast to take on a role in educational marketing, where he specialized in media buying, media relations, project management, and social media content. During this time, he continuously found technology projects falling into his lap due to a natural knack and grew to love it.
Drew spends much of his free time enjoying the beach, some live music, or a drink on the harbor while occasionally helping a rescue dog or two.
