In 2000, co-founders Vince Mayfield and Louis Erickson started the journey of turning their shared dream of running a software engineering company that treated its employees as well as its clients into reality. From its humble beginnings with the two co-founders providing custom software solutions, Bit-Wizards is now an award-winning Managed IT Services (MITS) company powered by a team of real-life Wizards who support clients across the country. We've accomplished so much in the past 25 years, and we're excited to continue to boldly go where few businesses have gone before.

    Vince joins Louis in Austin, TX, where they start Bit-Wizards in their living room

  2. 2001

    The co-founders move to their hometown in Shalimar, FL, and open the first Bit-Wizards office

  3. 2003

    John Jackson joins the team as the company's first-ever new hire

  4. 2004

    Bit-Wizards begins its longest-running client relationship with TSA Consulting Group and becomes a Microsoft Gold Partner

  5. 2006

    Vince and Louis expand their team of Wizards to 15 employees

  6. 2007

    The company moves into a bigger office space on Eglin Parkway and adds marketing services

  7. 2009

    Bit-Wizards earns its first of five Inc. 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies and its first of 15 Florida Trend Best Places to Work awards

    The company earns its first ADDY Award from the American Advertising Federation

    Vince and Louis form Monitored Communications, LLC with Stephen Nixon to further develop and support TalkingParents

    The company expands in its new Memorial Parkway office, establishes its core values, and creates its MITS branch

    The team receives the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce's Business of the Year award

    Bit-Wizards gets a logo revamp, establishes the Be the Magic Foundation, and moves into its current office on Ready Avenue

    The company earns its first Golden Image Award from the Florida Public Relations Association and its first Angel Award from the American Advertising Federation
