This is a full-time, in-house position.
Bit-Wizards is seeking a talented designer who can help us meet the challenge of creating both consumer-facing and internal websites. Ideal candidates have a strong background in HTML and CSS with a working knowledge of JavaScript. Designers work in all stages of the web development process; this includes site mock ups and diagrams, graphic design, coding, administration, QA and client training.
Responsibilities:
- Creative Design using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash).
- HTML & CSS Coding. CMS, Shopping Cart, and Web Application theme development.
- Designing and implementing clear, effective web pages.
- Search Engine Optimization.
- Development and day-to-day maintenance of web content.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of website design best practices (work samples required).
- Strong HTML and CSS skills. Strong Photoshop skills.
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language, preferably PHP.
- Working knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Unix and Windows servers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple areas of responsibilities.
- Proactive, customer-focused with a passion for Web and emerging technologies.
- Experience with the following is a plus: ASP.NET, C#, C++, VB, Flash, SharePoint, Oracle, Great Plains, .NET Compact Framework, Embedded Visual Tools, and other tools and development platforms that run on the Microsoft family of operating systems.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or other technical field, Microsoft Developer Certification, fluent in coding .NET applications, good communication skills, as well as strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Bit-Wizards software engineers are expert coders with a strong understanding of business data structures and work in small teams to develop solution-based software applications.
Responsibilities:
- Interface with clients to determine business requirements as well as keep in constant contact with clients on the progress of ongoing projects.
- Work well in a team environment to assist and seek assistance from peers in order to complete projects efficiently.
- Design, develop, and launch highly visible, feature rich applications.
- Support existing business applications for clients.
- Interface with network, hardware, and system operations teams to resolve problems with application/database systems.
- Team player who takes ownership of projects and drives them through to completion thoroughly and efficiently.
Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related technical studies.
- Minimum 3 years experience in ASP.NET development.
- Experience with Winforms and a SQL based Database including Database design.
- Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Strong problem solving skills, adaptable, proactive, and willing to take ownership.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
